What Are the Best Facial Plastic Surgery Procedures To Rejuvenate Your Face?

Facial rejuvenation means different things to different people, but the end goal is the same—to look like yourself, only better! Facial plastic surgery encompasses a variety of surgical procedures that can add volume, tighten, and contour different areas of your face for a more youthful appearance. Let’s explore some procedures that can smooth wrinkles and folds, lift sagging skin, and contour your features for a more vibrant, alert look.

Facelift for Natural-Looking Rejuvenation

A facelift focuses explicitly on rejuvenating the mid and lower face. As you age, you may notice skin laxity, jowling, and fine lines that are difficult to address with nonsurgical procedures. A facelift removes excess, tightens sagging skin, and contours your neck and jawline, making you look refreshed and energetic.

Most people want their facelift results to look natural and avoid the taut “wind tunnel” look. I developed the Reflection Lift to give my patients customized results based on their areas of concern, including the jawline and neck. During a Reflection Lift, I combine other surgical procedures, such as a fat transfer or laser skin resurfacing, to improve areas that a facelift does not address. This is all done as an in-office procedure under local anesthesia and light sedation.

Brow Lift for a Smoother Forehead

A crinkled brow and lines on the forehead can make you look worried or anxious. Topical products or injectables such as BOTOX® can improve wrinkles but can’t lift or tighten the brow area. During a brow lift, I remove excess skin and reposition muscle and tissue to elevate the brow.

A brow lift is not a one-size-fits-all procedure, and my patients experience different degrees of sagging in their brow area. I use various techniques and types of incisions to achieve results based on your specific facial concerns, and I often combine them with a Reflection Lift to enhance the results.

Chin Augmentation for a Contoured Profile

A small or recessed chin can make the rest of your features appear imbalanced and impact your facial profile. If you are dissatisfied with the appearance of your chin, chin augmentation creates volume and reshapes the area using a synthetic implant. Adding definition to the chin balances your features and creates a more distinct, contoured facial shape.

However, if you only want to create natural-looking volume and improve aging signs on your chin, fat transfer may be a more suitable option.

Refresh Your Eyes With Eyelid Surgery

Drooping eyelids and puffy under eyes can make you look older than your age. While eye drops, eye creams, or home remedies can help temporarily, most people prefer a long-lasting solution. Eyelid surgery, also called blepharoplasty, effectively rejuvenates sagging upper and lower eyelids to make you look more youthful and vibrant.

You will be surprised to learn that you will experience minimal discomfort after this procedure, and most patients can return to work after 1 week.

Although facial plastic surgery may sound intimidating, all my patients navigate the recovery period smoothly.
